By far my most popular ‘Sneaker Diaries’ post was the Vans Old Skool edition so I thought I’d create another one just to show you how versatile these sneakers are. As I mentioned in my last Sneaker Diaries post these are my first every pair of Old Skools and I think it’s safe to say that they were a good buy. I’ve worn them so much and with so many outfits, they really are such a great classic to have in your wardrobe. Today’s look is a smart casual take on Spring dressing. I’ve paired these black tailored trousers (slightly cropped so you’ll need to shave those ankles 😉) with this light weight white knit, adding a black lace bra underneath which can poke out when wearing the knit off the shoulder. I had one day last week where I crammed in 7 meetings in one day and this is what I wore. I felt respectable and semi-smart but also comfortable enough for all the running about and tube changing that I was doing. For those occasions where I just don’t want to wear jeans my second port of call is always a pair of slim tailored trousers 👌🏼
