Conker

These 3 months before Christmas (oh yes I just said the C word!) are my absolute favourite.  The weather, the changing of the trees and of course the fashion.  This is my favourite time of year to get dressed.  As you'll have already seen across all my social platforms I'm already starting to get geared up for Autumn, even if the weather hasn't quite caught up with me yet.  Dear Mother Nature, if we could just keep it below 20 degrees that would be ace, thanks.  I'm stocking up on my blazers, chunky knits and Autumn coats, I'm picking up all the earthy and neutral tones and fully embracing the new season colour palette.  This time of year is when the shopping part of my brain goes into overdrive; hunting, searching, scouring the internet for the best finds for the season...

I used to shop at Debenhams a lot at the start of my blogging career, in fact if any of you guys have been with me since then I'm sure you'll remember reading about my fondness for a Debenhams spend up.  I used to find some incredible things and yet somehow over the years I just lost touch with the brand.  Having the opportunity to work with them again on this 'Do A Bit of Debenhams' campaign has made me re-discover what I used to love so much about shopping at Debenhams.  For one, along with many brands we know and love they have their own in-house brands and designers brands (Designers at Debenhams), which are exclusive to them.  The bonus of this is that not everyone winds up wearing the same thing.  We've all been there when you're walking down the street and you spot about 10 people in 10 minutes wearing the exact same coat as you.  Secondly, their online shopping experience is made easy; free standard shipping on orders over £50, next day and evening delivery options if you're in a state of desperation for a new outfit, International delivery for you guys further afield, click and collect and a fuss free checkout system.  As someone that does A LOT of online shopping, trust me, this is very hard to come by.  But aside from all the technical 'stuff' they have some incredible collections right now.  This conker coloured coat for example, it's from the Principles range and isn't it just uh-mazing?!  It is autumn in a coat; the colour, the cut, the length, even the lining is delicious.  And then these boots...THESE. BOOTS!  They're from the J by Jasper Conran collection and they are everything I look for in a boot; comfortable, practical and so effortlessly chic.
