I‘ve tried out this Lasting Gel Colour by Collection and I have to say for a budget gel polish, it’s pretty good! The colour I tested is ‘Antique Rose’ and it’s a gorgeous neutral colour with a dusky pink tone. The ‘easy wide brush’ was pretty easy to use although it doesn’t have much shape at the end so I found it a little tricky to get in the curve near the cuticle but other than that I can’t really fault it. I applied 2 layers to get this look and drying time is pretty darn swift. As you can see it certainly does have a gel gloss finish to it and I’m pleased to say this did last about a week before I noticed the shine start to wear off but still no chipping. Now I do have acrylic overlays on my nails so obviously this does make polish last longer which is why I have them done so my no-chip time might vary for anyone without gel or acrylic overlays. In total there are 15 shades to choose from in this range, including a clear top coat which could be a cheaper alternative to Seche Vite and would be great to top up the shine once they start to wear. At £3.19 this nail colour is certainly worth a try! Remember there’s a 3 for 2 on at Boots!
