It’s taken me a little while to get back into flares after their major return to the fashion scene last season and they’re here to stay at least for next season. I had some serious flashbacks of wearing neon spandex flares back in the era of SPICE with giant platform trainers; I guess it kind of scarred me and prevented me from welcoming back these puddle absorbing trousers. That said you can’t fault the silhouette of a good flare trouser/jean, and as my friend Claire pointed out (much to my delight) the emphasis on the *Thigh Gap* they provide. Now don’t hate me when I tell you this but my return to flares has cost me a mere £9.99, with yet another Zara sale bargain.
