A couple of weeks ago I was invited by Jimmy Choo to have afternoon tea at the Berkeley Hotel in Knightsbridge along with some other blogger girlies; Anna, Shini, Annali, Briony, Kit and Monica. But this wasn’t just any ordinary afternoon tea, oh no, this was a Pret-a-Portea, Jimmy Choo style. Each of the delectable cakes and biscuits were created with the very essence of Jimmy Choo in mind. In the midst of the Caramel Room, handcrafted shoe biscuits and cake clutches were delivered to our table and the Instagramming commenced. After all the camera eats first! The Berkeley offers an incredible range of teas, I would recommend the Berkeley blend, and the service is on point from start to finish, exactly what you’d expect of this prestigious Hotel.
I wore a gorgeous star studded ‘Rebel’ cross body bag and ‘Legion’ boots both by Jimmy Choo (Naturally!), paired with a pair of black Zara skinny jeans and a H&M cricket style jumper. I felt suitably dressed for a fashionable afternoon tea, it’s certainly not a ripped jeans and tee occasion.
This is afternoon tea for the most fashion conscious of crowds.
The Jimmy Choo Pret-a-Portea (#tea4choo) ends this Sunday however there will be some more exciting brands launching their own afternoon tea collections very soon, stay tuned for more info!
