Boyfriend jeans, ‘bfj’s’, in theory the most unflattering things on the planet, but in reality they are the best jeans ever! I fist fell in love with the boyfriend jean around 2011, my first pair were from Zara and since then my collection has grown (massive understatement, more like taken-over my entire wardrobe!).
It’s now been a good 4 years since my first pair and I’m finding myself losing some appreciation for my beloved baggy crotch denims. I’ve always favoured a bleach or mid wash denim when going for this style of jean but I recently bought these white bfj’s and my love has been reignited once more. They are a great way to wear boyfriend jeans in the summer and if you love the distressed styles like me then your tan can still be visible through the rips.
My rule of thumb is always to wear heels with a pair of boyfriend jeans but it’s summer now and I’m finding myself being drawn to a pair of flats (like these amazing Chanel inspired mules) for during the day. White is white, so it’s an easy colour to slip into your current wardrobe but I do have quite the soft spot for the khaki on white combo so I teamed this shirt (last seen here) with my new bfj’s for an easy going everyday summer look.
Apologies for the overload of my Chloe Faye dupe, but I just love it so darn much! Who else has bought one?
