Today I’m discussing all things casual and striped, ok maybe not ALL things, but definitely these trousers. A drawstring trouser often tends to be my travel trouser of choice, but the fabric will depend on the country; fleecy (sweats) for somewhere like New York in Winter or light (linen or crepe) for LA. As I’ve done a lot more travelling over the last few months I’ve grown pretty dependent on an elasticated waistband, this may or may not also be due to my eating habits, it’s always burger o’clock 😉
Anyway today I thought I’d show you an option for a casual outfit for Spring/Summer which for once does not include denim. When the weather starts to heat up the last thing I want to be wearing is a tight fitting pair of denim so as a substitute these stripe trousers work wonders. Teamed with the ultimate white linen shirt which you’ll have seen here on EJ Style many a time and these Vans espadrilles this look is definitely going to be something I go for on my off-duty days.
