Barry M Make Up Brushes

I received these new make-up brushes from Barry M before I went away on Holiday but before blogging them I actually wanted to use them on a daily basis.  I’ve been putting them into action every day for just under 3 weeks now and I have to say they are pretty nifty!  They have brought out the basics; Kabuki Brush for Bronzer, Powder Brush (Mis-placed this for the picture above, apologies!), Foundation Brush, Blusher Brush, Concealer Brush, Eyeshadow Brush, Angled Eyeliner Brush and a handy Travel Set.  The bristles on each of the brushes are nice and soft and whilst using them I never felt any irritation.  If compared to the likes of Real Techniques brushes you can tell the difference but there’s also rather a large price difference there too.  If you don’t use make-up brushes (naughty!) then these would be great set to start off with to get the hang of using brushes.  Or if like me you simply have a brush addiction and always need spares these are a great addition to a collection.  The Kabuki Brush and the Angled Eyeliner Brush have to be my faves of the lot.  The Kabuki Brush is just so soft and evenly distributes bronzer perfectly with a great blending action.  The Angled eyeliner brush is just the right size and thickness for the perfect flick and I also found that it doubles up as a great eyebrow brush (great when using Barry M’s Brow Kit!).  I washed my brushes after each use and this doesn’t affect the bristles at all, as you can see from the pictures they look as good as new!  It would be great to see the addition of some more precision brushes to this range, for example a Blending Brush for eyes and a Stippling Brush for the face!  The travel kit is pretty handy, it fits perfectly inside my make up bag which is rather on the small side.  However I’m not sure if anyone uses the double ended lash/brow comb anymore, I know I don’t, so it would be nice to see a mini Angled Eyeliner brush in there instead, nonetheless the brushes are brilliant quality for the price (see below) and I would certainly recommend giving them a go!
