Following on from last Friday's post where I spoke a little about injecting some colour into my wardrobe, I'm back with the yellow. You'll have seen this ochre coat a fair bit over the last few months, and sadly I think it's now sold out (apologies) but I haven't worn it this side of Christmas and as I have just rediscovered my love for yellow, I thought I'd whip it out again. My inspiration for this outfit actually came from a girl I saw on the tube. She was wearing a yellow coat with a pair of turn up jeans and some patent silver ankle boots and I instantly loved the contrast. Her style was a lot more quirky than mine so I've just taken inspo from her metallic boot idea and I think it works. So thank you anonymous girl on the tube.
I often get asked about where I get my inspiration from and I always say the same thing...EVERYWHERE. It can be from Instagram, shops, girls on the street (real people!), nature, different countries, magazines...there's inspiration all around us and I'm just very in tune and very observant of it.
