Sneaker Diaries – Winter Normcore

I experimented with the normcore trend a few years ago when it was rife on the fashion scene.  It's not a look that I would wear every day but this outfit just sort of 'came together' when I was looking for something casual to wear over the weekend.  

You may recognise this maxi coat from one of my recent hauls over on Instagram Stories and yes, it is very similar to this one from Monday's post but as you can see I have created two very different looks with each coat.  This maxi version looks great layered over some tailored trousers or smart joggers, a cashmere sweater and the addition of the basic trainers keeps it looking chic but casual, which is the aesthetic of 'normcore'.
