I always used to be slightly afraid of wide leg trousers and jeans, I assumed they were a hard piece to pull off but in fact they're quite the opposite. I recently ordered these khaki wide leg jeans (I also ordered them in white) as an experiment, and not expecting to like them at all but alas, here I am in said jeans. The reoccurring problem I have when it comes to trousers and jeans is leg length, so as you may notice I normally opt for a cropped fit, thus avoiding the accidental ankle swinger look in favour of the deliberate ankle swinger look (trust me there is a difference). There's also something cool about a cropped fit and thanks to Next's varied leg lengths even long legged gals like me and petite girls can achieve the right look.
Today's outfit is as always, pretty basic, and that's how I like my style. I've paired the jeans with a simple stripe t-shirt worn under a leather biker jacket. Originally I had my Saint Laurent trainers on with this outfit but it looked slightly too casual for me so I swapped them for these Dune loves Rupert Sanderson satin pumps which are great for dressing up looks like this.
