Happy Sunday guys! Today I’m back with Part 2 of my ‘Weekend in Missguided‘ post. In yesterday’s post you will have seen my casual Winter look and as I mentioned, today’s look is going to be more suited to Spring. I always find that Spring comes around so quickly and all of a sudden I’m left in a sartorial predicament where I have nothing suitable to wear and I have to hit the shops in a frantic panic. This year I vowed to be more organised and start collecting my Spring wardrobe ahead of the start of the season…before everything sells out.
Embroidered denim was a huge trend of this season and it’s carrying through to SS17. Of course florals are always a guaranteed hit for Spring so these floral embroidered jeans are the perfect way to kickstart the season. I’ve layered this beautiful silky kimono with lace trim over a delicate cami top for a super feminine look, but then to avoid looking too girly, I’ve added some suede Chelsea boots. This makes for a great everyday Spring outfit; it’s comfortable, breathable (for when the weather heats up) and it looks pretty effortless. I found all of these pieces in the ‘New In’ section on the Missguided site and I would urge you to go and have a look and start stocking up on those affordable pieces to give your wardrobe a hint of Spring ready for the new season.
