Metallics are a great way to make a statement with your footwear and actually they’re super easy to pair with any outfit. Balenciaga released these kick ass high shine metallic boots and they were a hit amongst the street style crew so obviously it was only a matter of time before the high street created a more affordable version 🙌🏼

The embroidery trend is everywhere, literally! It’s on jackets, jeans, trainers, shirts and of course, boots. I love these floral embroidered ankle boots from ASOS, they have just the right heel height for everyday wear and I would team them with some light wash denim and a white shirt, maybe one of these from last week’s Top 5, what a Fashion Week worthy outfit that would make.

Madewell is a brand that I fell in love with whilst travelling around the US on my honeymoon last year. It’s an American brand so they have a store in most of the cities we visited. As the name suggests their products are made well and you can really feel the quality. I’m off to the States again next week and I really want to hunt down these bright red ankle boots. Bold and bright colours are a great way to make a statement and nothing is more bold than red.

Despite getting a bad rep at times leopard is actually a print which constantly comes back. I just love these leopard print Chelsea boots by Marc Jacobs, they are the perfect every day heel height and they look great with so many outfits; all black, skinny jeans, boyfriend jeans, shorts during festival season, a black midi skirt, neutrals and the list could go on.
