One word that drives your pulse through the roof, causes you to lose all sensible reason, brings out your inner rage and gives you a sever case of hot sweats…SALE! I bloody love this time of year! I love the summer sales more than the winter sales because every fashionista is using all their insider knowledge and contacts to find out when each brand/store/online hotspot goes into sale, there’s a sense of nervousness amoung us as we wait in eager anticipation. This year round however I am saving for a house and have zero money but I will still be shopping the sales with you in spirit and of course will be reporting the best buys…
MANGO
Mango go in Sale today both online and in-store. There are some amazing bargains to be had and some serious investment buys for next season! If you want to avoid buying items with a short shelf life then just take a quick minute to check out Vogue’s AW11 preview and trends list to give you an idea of what you can expect to be on trend next season. Investment buys are something I always aim for in the summer Sales and this year round there’s alot of potential. Colour blocking has been huge this season and the great news is that it will be equally as huge in Autumn/Winter, so get buying those bright colours, especially in key pieces like skinny jeans, shirts and blazers! If you want to buy a few top-up pieces for summer, or if you have a holiday coming up, then just don’t splurge too much, be carefull and think about when you will wear it and what you will wear it with.

MISS SELFRIDGE
If I’m being honest I only ever buy jewellery in the Miss Selfridge sale, however if you’re off to a festival this season then they have some great pieces from their festival collection on offer! I found it a little more difficult to find items that can be carried over to next season but here’s a few ideas for the Festival trend this summer and Masculine trend next season…
Warehouse also have some lovely bits on sale. They are a slightly higher priced store in general but when they have a sale that means bigger discounts, many items are half price! YAY! Here’s my top bargain picks…
