The Abercrombie Revival

I've recently re-ignited the flame of an old love of mine, Abercrombie & Fitch.  Back in the day my summer wardrobe would consist of A&F cut-offs and a logo emblazoned hoodie, it was the uniform of the teenage beach bum that I once was (circa 2003).  Fast forward, errrr, a good few years and Abercrombie has evolved as much as I have. In addition to the classic sweats and denim cut offs they now have a ready-to-wear line that sends my sartorial senses spiralling out of control.  Denim is one of their strongest suits and in terms of design they haven't missed a trick or trend.  This distressed denim mini (featured in the first outfit) has to be the perfect summer staple for teaming with a ditsy printed blouse like this one or a classic button up shirt, be it plain, printed or striped.  The All-American preppy element to A&F remains but with this new wave of collections comes a whole range of fashion forward pieces that I find myself lusting over.

Classic staples are very much present in the collections, and I always find myself gravitating towards a stripe shirt like this one (featured in the second outfit).  Teaming it with one of their new denim shapes; the high rise cropped stovepipe, which also come in a darker wash denim.

Check out my favourite pieces from the A&F new collections:

navy blue ditsy print shirt blouse with tie at the neck, rose gold metal watch
distressed ripped frayed denim mini skirt, white nails, navy blue ditsy butterfly print blouse shirt
frayed denim mini skirt, celine nano bag, blue printed shirt
