On occasion there’s a season that just becomes so strong with trends and key pieces that will fill my entire notebook that it reminds me why I j’adore fashion so much, and why I couldn’t possibly live without it in my life. Spring/Summer 2012 is one of those seasons for me. I feel like I liked Autumn/Winter this year but not a real passionate excitement for it. So we’ve had fashion weeks back in September and now it’s that time of year where the high street start to showcase their collections for next season. I’ve already brought to you Kurt Geiger and now I bring to you River Island. It’s a strong collection peeps! My choice of header picture displays my clear winners from this collection, the embellished bralet crop top and pencil skirt set (in black and white)…amazing!!! There are by no means mere hints of retro, its awash with retro glamour! we’re talking pastel shades, high waisted pencil skirts, bold floral prints, sheer feminine blouses and an array of 60’s/70’s accessories which will no doubt make our parents reminisce of ‘the good old days’.
