When I say I love ripped denim I'm not joking (see exhibit A: this post). I've been subject to all the comments from the older generation; 'Where's the rest of your jeans?' 'Have you been mauled by a Tiger?' 'Oooo those are fancy jeans' 'That's what they wear in London' LOL! I'm pretty sure it's not just Londoners who sport a pair of ripped jeans, in fact we probably stole the look from the uber cool California types. Anyway my point is if they aren't ripped or distressed in some way, I'm not all that interested. Yes, these rather ventilated jeans might be on the extreme end of the ripped denim spectrum but maybe that's why I'm so in love with them. Call me crazy but I still believe there's something quite chic (yes chic) about a pair of ripped jeans. Paired with a basic striped t-shirt and this red Saint Laurent shopper tote this simple outfit packs quite the smart/casual punch.
