I catch myself complaining about living in London (Rather than the sunny climes of LA) so frequently that I forget to stop and appreciate the beauty of this fine city. However there is one pastime that comes with Summer which always makes me fall back in love with London. We have some of the most beautiful parks in the world, my favourite being Regents park, obviously because it’s in such close proximity to the Zoo, and where there are animals…you’ll find me. As the temperature began to soar earlier this week I met up with my friend and we decided to have an impromptu lunch in the park. It’s so refreshing to escape the hustle and bustle of London life by just taking some time out to sit in the shade of the trees and relax. Well for all of five minutes until I spotted copious amounts of four legged friends that I simply HAD to say hello to. Apologies if you are one of those dog walkers that just wants to be left alone, because I am the annoying person that wants to pick up your dog (regardless of size) and cuddle it for at least 15 minutes whilst asking you about their personality….any one else do this?
Outfit-wise I was pretty casual in my trusty ripped boyfriend jeans and this cute khaki button up top (which also comes in pale blue). The (very Isabel Marant inspired) cardigan was unnecessary in the heat but acted as a great pillow, and I always like to be prepared for a sudden change in the weather. I accessorised the look with this straw fedora, Chloe ‘Drew’ bag and my Isabel Marant (sample sale finds) sandals.
