It was quite a few weeks back that I attended the M&S High Summer press day and I’ve been saving this post to show you closer to summer, but I can hold off no longer, it’s too amazing to keep hidden. The Limited Collection was my favourite, mind you it always is, I sometimes drift across into the Autograph range for key tailored pieces like the Floral trousers I wore to Day 1 of LFW (here). The limited collection was full of quirky prints and candy pastels. I just love the white shirt with the pink illuastrated print, the PR team told me it would be around the £29.50 mark and as soon as that hits stores….it will hit my wardrobe too! The accessories for this range are also fab! Check out the Sophia Webster inspired heels (£29.50), which might I add come in loads of colours…errrr yay! The other shoe highlight is the mules! We can’t escape mules this season, they’re the hottest shoe trend alongside the ‘Ugly’ pool slide trend, and these chunky heeled ones M&S have created are simple, comfortable and have gone straight to the top of my wishlist!
The latest from the Best of British collection sees cotton jersey dresses, floral prints, dropped waistlines and tailored separates. I love the orange floral dress with the 20’s waistline, perfect for summer and as always with this collection, it’s made in Britain, hurrah!
Among the other collections you’ll see my favourite pieces which I snapped on the day, like the neoprene floral over-sized sweatshirt (blimmin’ gorgeous!), red moc-croc bag, metallic leather jacket and french china print dress, all just beautifully made as you’d expect from M&S.
The high-summer stock starts hitting stores from this month so keep those eyes peeled!
Please don’t forget to nominate me for the Company ‘Best Style Blog’ award 2014, the form only takes about 15 seconds to fill out, pleeeeeease!
