Monochrome Layers

So today I’m travelling down to Cornwall ahead of our Wedding on Friday and I can’t believe how fast it has come around.  It seems like only yesterday that I got engaged and now I’m two days away from the best day of my life!  Eeeeeep exciting times, so come and follow along my wedding journey on Instagram & Snapchat (@ejstyle).

What’s not so exciting (how do you like that for a seamless link) is the current weather. Excuse me Mother Nature we seem to have missed Autumn altogether and jumped right in to Winter, and I’m not a fan.  The temperature has dropped, a lot, and I’m finding myself in that rather grey area of sartorial planning which always seems to follow August.  Despite going through this ‘ordeal’ every single year it’s still a pretty big hit to my system.  I’m not a lover of the cold (I mean, who the F is?!) and so I like to avoid feeling it at every possible opportunity.  This is where knitwear becomes my saviour and here starts my new knit collection of the season.

Bell sleeves were a huge trend for summer and one that I really bought into, so it was a no brainer that this grey bell sleeve jumper would be added to my AW15 wardrobe.  Now as I’m not quite ready to sport a full on winter coat right now, this faux fur gilet is the perfect companion for your autumnal knits, and teamed with an oversized scarf it’s a great look for this time of year.
