A Love Affair with Neutrals

It's safe to say that I'm a lover of a neutral colour palette.  Bright and bold colours just aren't my thing, it's either black and grey or beige....lots of beige.  Beige gets a bit of a hard time, being dubbed as the 'boring colour' but I think people are fast to judge.  Beige is a neutral colour which makes it as versatile as black and when teamed with other neutrals, ie. soft greys, muted blush pinks and cream I think it looks the bizz!

If you caught my last haul over on Instagram Stories then you'll remember this beige swing coat, which was so nicely styled on the website that I used that as my outfit inspo...and also adding those beige boots to my shopping basket.  This grey mohair jumper has by far been my best knitwear investment of the season, never have I owned a jumper so soft (ok, other than cashmere) and when I say investment, it still falls under the £70 mark so it's not that bad.  I want to address the 'itch factor' of this jumper because it's often the first question that people ask especially when I mention the word Mohair.  There is NO itchiness from this jumper, it's a mohair mix and as I said, it's so deliciously soft.  I have zero tolerance for itching knitwear so rest assured that I will give you an honest 'itch factor' rating here.

I'd also like to quickly touch on this cute little cross body bag.  It's from LK Bennett who have recently collaborated with Boyarde to create these stick on letters for you to customise your leather goods.  I don't own many cross body bags but after wearing this one for the day I forgot just how practical they are in the sense that they leave you hands free.
