Yesterday I woke up to glorious sunshine and blue skies, birds were singing, flowers were blossoming, and a squirrel even jumped through my bedroom window to brush my hair…then, it rained.  All. Day. Long.  I think we’re about to embark on that fun time of year where we all dress like some kind of mismatched fashion fiend.  We all can’t wait to get our (pale & pasty) legs out, because let’s face it, we’re excited that we’ve shaved our legs for the first time in 6 months and we darn well want to whack on a floral skirt!  However, there’s the fear of rain.  What’s it to be?  Well of course it’s a giant sized poncho/mac contraption (donned only once for that festival last year) which folds up to the size of peanut, bonus, but also looks like some kind of aztec bin liner.  We’ve all been there, our quivering legs stuck out from underneath a multicoloured tent, with a pair of sodden trainers and a fringe stuck flat to your head to finish the look.  This is why I love the British Springtime!
