We had the BB creams and now it’s the turn of the CC creams. Colour Correction creams are hitting down big now with almost all cosmetic brands and I’ve been sent this Lacura (Aldi beauty) one to try out. This comes in only one shade, which should be suitable for all skin tones, I can’t vouch for this because I’ve only tried it out on myself. As you can see from the pictures below when first applied it does look considerably darker than my own skin but it was surprising how much it blended in and adjusted to my own skin tone. It does provide pretty good coverage and hides small blemishes, similar to that of a foundation. It’s not as light as a BB cream, but as the coverage is so good I wouldn’t expect it to be. Once applied it does leave a radiant complexion (with a slightly matte finish) and could be mixed with their Shimmering Day Cream (see in this post) for a lighter and more dewy look. It does have UVA/UVB protection with SPF 15 which is great for day to day wear. Available in Aldi stores now, priced at £4.99 (50ml).
