I began to veer away from bright colours in my mid 20’s and over the last couple of years I’ve found myself very much a muted colours kind of girl. Black obviously is a ‘go-to’ for me, especially in those key pieces like this biker jacket, or a pair of leather trousers. However as chic as head-to-toe black can be, I do find myself craving some kind of colour.
The warm earthy tones which Autumn brings each year are perfect for breaking up dark outfits. Rust was a colour which I fell in love with last season and if you’re as obsessed with it as me, you’ll be pleased to hear it’s stuck around for AW15. These rust suede ankle boots are great for wearing with denim, as I’ve done in this look with these ripped boyfriend jeans. Paired with this striped shirt, it’s a perfect autumnal outfit with just a hint of colour.
