Thanks to you all for being so patient with me. As most of you know, I’ve taken a little time off to move home and start the decorating! We finally moved in 5 days before Christmas and since then I have been busy decorating. The bedroom is successfully completed and we start work on the lounge in two weeks time so now I’m back blogging I’ll be sure to keep you all updated on my interior design ideas. I’ve taken a few pictures of my newly decorated bedroom for you all to see, I really wish I’d taken the ‘before’ pictures because this room was hideous…blue carpet and blue stripey wallpaper with a border….ew! Now it’s much more ‘me’, it’s a nice clean, serene place to relax…and of course it’s the home of my main wardrobes 🙂
The home of my most treasured possessions…my huge wardrobes. But they are looking a bit plain…
You’re just in time to see how I finished off my bedroom by decorating my wardrobe doors with wall stickers. I love wall stickers and you’ll all remember the birdcage one I had at my last house. Well I’ve gone for birds again but this time with trees and falling leaves. I bought this one off eBay for £12.99 and you could pick any colour, so I chose grey to go with the colour scheme of the bedroom. They are such a cheap and easy way to spruce up a room and there’s so many different designs out there, I’d really suggest having a look on eBay. Putting them up couldn’t be easier…
Cut the individual sections so they are ready to stick up one by one….
Peel the sticky plastic off the backing paper and stick onto your desired surface, smooth over with a cloth so get our any air bubbles…
Peel back the sticky plastic and it will leave the sticker in place on the surface…
The end result 🙂
