TGIF! I’ve had such a busy week, but this weekend I have a chilled family day out bar hopping around London and then Wireless festival on Sunday so all is good in the hood. I very rarely do a dressed up look because, well I don’t go out all that often. When you’re a full time blogger I find there’s just not enough hours in the day to get all your shit done. This is the point where someone shares one of those annoying memes on Instagram: ‘You have as many hours in a day as Beyonce’, and you know what I say to that, bullshit! Beyonce is Beyonce, I am a one woman band.
I live surgically attached to 2 phones and a tablet and despite my want to relax I do find it impossible to turn off my blogger mode. Sweet Jesus where is that off switch?! I’m sure most bloggers would tell you this, but we live, breathe and sleep blogs. Instagram is the first thing I look at in the morning and the last thing I look at at night, which is sad, but work is work.
Sob story over. On to a more positive note, I actually went out on a Friday night! It was just to a bar with some friends for drinks but it did feel like an excuse to don some sparkle (FYI this rarely happens!). This incredible beaded kimono was the center piece of the whole, otherwise ‘safe’ look. All black with skinny jeans and a lattice detail top as the base, some nude heels and my fave Chloe dupe to accessorise.
Whatever you’re upto this weekend I hope you have a great one and if you want to follow along with my shenanigans then I’m on this little thing called Snapchat 😉 search ‘ejstyle’ to find me.
