Courtesy of F+F Clothing and BlinkBox Music I was sent to East Coast Live on Saturday. Now I’m not actually that obsessed by music, if I hear a song I like…I like it, but I don’t go out of my way to see music live etc. That said, as my experience with live music is limited, East Coast Live was pretty good, minus the torrential rain when I got there. I did have a backstage pass so I wasn’t based at the front of the stage but I got a nice cushty view from the side of the stage to watch all the acts; Neon Jungle, Union J, 5 Seconds of Summer, Jason Derulo, The Saturdays and Jessie J to name but a few. Being backstage I got to see all the artists is their ‘natural environment’ and caught a lovely sight of Marvin & Rochelle Humes with their gorgeous little daughter just being a normal family, granted the little one has pop star parents but that’ll be the norm for her! I also spotted Jason Derulo (You gotta sing that to get the full effect!) and his tribe of dancers pumping themselves up before they went on stage, it was like filming a rare bird doing some kind of mating dance…I did feel borderline Attenborough-esque.
Outfit-wise I went for a pair of F+F short dungarees with a cropped jumper worn underneath and a check shirt tied around my waist. (Full links and outfit details below)
