So Christmas is over and the sales have been shopped, and I don’t know about you but I’m really starting to think about Spring Summer 13! I think I’ve had just about enough of chunky knits, leather sleeved coats and biker boots as I can stomach this season. I can’t wait to dive into the wardrobe of crop tops, acetate clutches and bold floral prints. So to kick start the inspiration I have here all my pictures from the Dune, Pied A Terre and Bertie SS13 press day. The venue was at the beautiful Haymarket Hotel which is subtly tucked away just off Piccadilly. When directed to the ‘basement’ (Thinking, hmmmm, a basement? How glamorous!) I was completely taken aback when I entered an underground oasis complete with super-swanky pool (With floating candles!). “Well impressed”…to say the least. Now Dune has always been one of my favourite shoe brands, having bought my very first pair of high heels (And by high I mean about 3 inches, laughable these days) for my Year 11 prom from their concession in Debenhams. I thought I was the dogs bollocks in those shoes it has to said. This SS13 is no different to any other season in terms of their triumphs in hitting trends on the head. They’ve got it all, acetate heels (My utter fave for next season!!!), hints of neon, studs, stripes, pastels and a really impressive range of accessories, that in all honesty I’d never noticed they made before. I’ll let you all judge for yourselves but I’ve taken the liberty of highlighting my favourite ‘must-have’ pieces for next season with my new ‘Emma Loves’ logo (WARNING: You will see this logo a lot!).
