Dress-season is coming back around and already I've been spying a few new season faves which I've been adding to my wardrobe in the run up to next season. Most recently this yellow midi shirt dress. Ok, so I may be a little premature with whipping out a dress seeings as Spring is still a little over a month away but there are ways to start working in the Spring trends now. Admittedly I could have implemented a few more of these myself in this outfit because I was absolutely frozen but hey ho. If you're just dying to dig out your favourite spring dress or like me, you've already starting buying into the new season offerings then try layering it over a polo neck jumper (so wish I'd done this!). It looks super chic and will add a much needed layer of warmth. I can't 'do' tights, they make me feel trapped, so if there are any other hosiery-haters out there then don't be put off by layering your dress over a pair of jeans (skinny often look best). And if your dress is a button-up style like this one, unbutton the first few buttons from the bottom to allow a tad more denim-clad leg to flash through.
