After becoming obsessed with the Lasting Perfection
concealer and Illuminating
highlighter (beauty blogger faves!) from Collection I decided to give this
Lasting Perfection Foundation (£5.99 30ml) a go. I’ve gone for shade 2, Ivory but there are 6 shades to choose from. Now a big factor in this foundation is that it’s oil free which is great is you suffer from oily skin! I don’t have oily skin all over but by the middle of the day I can often start to notice a slight shine on my t-zone so any product that may help with that is always going to be at the top of my list. I used a basic foundation brush to apply this foundation on cleansed skin (no primer) and I only needed just over half a full pump of product for full coverage. Unfortunately I wasn’t out all day when I tested this product but I did do some hefty cleaning and worked up a bit of a sweat, and I’m pleased to say that my make up wasn’t affected at all! Apparently it’s got some swanky anti-lock technology for all day wear, ooooooo! There was no oiliness on my t-zone and it felt quite light on the skin unlike some other all-day-wear foundations which can feel thick and like your skin can’t breathe. It doesn’t state whether it’s meant to be matte or otherwise but I found the finish to be radiant and it gave my skin a nice healthy glow and you can see from the pictures below how it has evening out my complexion and covered any small blemishes. £5.99 is a bargain for a foundation of this quality and certainly worth a try, oh and it’s got an SPF of 20 so will be perfect for summer wear too!
