I like to look somewhat respectable when ‘off duty’ doing non-blogger-type-things and this is an outfit I wore last week to meet a friend for a catch up over coffee. We went to St Christopher’s Place in central London which if you don’t know it is a very quirky, hidden gem of foody type places, and perfect if you love alfresco dining. We were lucky to be dining outside so late into October due to this mild weather we’re having and this is also causing many an issue for women-kind when making those touch outfit decisions! I’ve been wearing a coat for the last few weeks but with London being the climate chameleon that it is, I end up carrying it, or ‘caping’ it to let my underarms, errrr…ventilate. That said it would be a hasty mistake to not take one out because the temperature is much cooler in the mornings and evenings. Again I went for my new staple camel coat from River Island and layered it over the top of this very Isabel Marant inspired geometric sweater (also) from River Island. I was sent these gorgeous black suede OTK boots by Schuh last week and couldn’t wait to debut them on a dry day, and can I just say, they are one of the most comfortable pairs of boots I now own *feet sigh with relief*.
