The weather in LA at this time of year is cold for the locals but for us London dwellers it's rather pleasant and quite the treat to leave the coat collection at home. I bought this camel cardigan a few days before I left for LA (I also bought it in grey, ooooops) with the thought that it would be a great travel cardigan, and that it is but I also found myself wearing it almost every day as my sanctuary of warmth. Long cardigans are definitely a wardrobe staple worth investing in, and trust me, I would spend all my dollar on them if I didn't have 5 dogs...aka. the knitwear pulling brigade. My dogs love to sit on my lap all day long as I work and when I come home after being out for the day they jump all over me, and I wouldn't have it any other way but for that reason alone I can't splash out on those high-quality knits. Denim however is a different story altogether. The reason I love denim is because is it's robust, and obviously incredibly wearable. I have many denim loves (including some high street) but when it comes to a solid fitting pair of jeans you just can't beat Paige. I got these black skinnies with a stepped hem ahead of my trip and I've pretty much been living in them ever since.
