Boat Trip

On our last day we decided to book one of the excursions that the resort offered to us which was a 3hr catamaran ride to see wild whales and dolphins.  You won’t know this about me but at one point I was dead set on being a Marine Biologist and Whales and Dolphins were my life but I had never seen them in the wild.  I’ve got to say it was absolutely amazing when we saw them and if any of you ever have the chance to do a trip like this I would urge you not to pass it up!  It was the perfect end to our holiday despite the fact that I was sea sick for about 2 of the 3 hours we were on the boat, lol!  It was totally worth it though!  Before heading back to the mooring station the boat stopped at a small bay where you could jump off and swim in the ocean, I didn’t want to as I was on the verge on vomitsville but my other half was like an over excited child diving off the boat, climbing back on and diving again.  Bless his little cottons!  My sea sickness passed as soon as I stepped off the boat (what is the point?!) and we went to get some much needed lunch and then returned to the pool for a last minute tan top up.
