An amazing package from Barry M arrived today filled with lots of goodies for me test out and I couldn’t wait to try out these Gelly Hi Shine Lip Crayons (£4.99 each), so you can guess what I’ve been doing all afternoon! There are five shades to choose from however there is no nude colour (*sad face*) which is a bit disappointing but hopefully they’ll bring out more colours as I’m sure these will be a huge success! They really do give a great glossy finish on the lips and the colours are all gorgeous in their own right. My personal favourites are ‘Sirius’ which is a perfect shade of coral and is great for Spring and ‘Capella’ which is a soft and feminine pastel pink. ‘Electra’ and ‘Alpha’ are the boldest and most opaque colours of the bunch and really stand out! Lip crayons are my new favourite lippy’s because they are shaped perfectly for easy application. The crayon-like end allows you to get into all those tricky areas like the corners and the cupids bow. I have had mine on all afternoon and only had to re-apply after I’d had a cup of tea. My lips haven’t dried out like with some other lipsticks too which is great if like me you suffer from dry lips. I’d definitely give these a thumbs up and for the price they are another great alternative to a ‘Chubby Stick’.
