How amazing is this time of year? If your a huge Christmas-lover like me then you need to visit the Dickens Christmas Market at Rochester Castle (Kent). It’s full of 50+ mini log cabin style stalls offering homemade brews, fancy cheeses and a range of other goodies. The first weekend of December holds the Dickensian Christmas festival which me and the boy went to last weekend. Along with the market there’s a street parade full of Dickens characters, carol singers, and an artificial snow machine (oh yeh!). Obvs it’s chilly at this time of year so what better way to warm up than with a cup of mulled wine or as I tried…spiced cider.
